Fast Fire Ltd manufacture kilns exactly to the customers
requirements. We take very seriously the need to manufacture fuel efficient and
environmentally sound kilns.
All our kilns, both gas and electric are manufactured from substantial rolled steel sections. The frames are not manufactured from folded sections. Since a large area of our business is relocating kilns, we are aware of the problems moving a kiln can cause. For this reason our kilns are designed to be easily transported and moved around, even after many years of service.
As with our electric shuttle kilns, our gas shuttle kilns generally have lightweight ceramic fibre linings to ensure that the gas kilns are fuel efficient and have a quick turnaround. Afterburners can be fitted to reduce emissions if required.
Our gas intermittent kilns all have either our own, or proprietary, flame failure units fitted as standard depending upon the customers specification.

The high specification kilns shown above have a complex PLC controlled alarm and control system, although for safety the burner control still needs operator input and is hard wired. All combustion air ducting and the hood is manufactured from stainless steel and each air off-take is filtered immediately before each burner. Gas pipe work is also filtered.
