Fast Fire Ltd manufactures dryers for all types of ceramic ware.
The photographs below show a state of the art seven chamber dryer for heavy clay products. This dryer was built entirely to the customers specification. The innovative design ensured that there is no metal to metal contact whatsoever through the walls or roof of each chamber so as to reduce heat loss and increase efficiency. All interior steelwork is fully galvanized and the three long pattern air distributors in each chamber ensure an even airflow throughout the chamber.
Each dryer chamber has temperature, humidity and pressure controlled by a PLC which is monitored and interacted with by a complex SCADA system. The principle of cascaded PID loops is the method used to control the chamber temperature.
